Haldor Howard, assistant professor of horticulture responsible for the nursery and greenhouse production curriculum optionat OSU-OKC, has been awarded the L. E. "Dean" Stringer Award for Teaching Excellence for 2011-2012.  The award winners are chosen by the award committee from nominations provided by students, staff or other faculty members.  Only faculty member and two adjunct faculty members are chosen each year.  Mr. Howard is the faculty recipient for this year.  The award has been presented annually since 1995.
